The Tempest

This poster is my first attempt at painting digitally in Photoshop.  I finished this poster in a day.  Of course, that was after three or four concept revisions.  The final idea of Prospero's hand manipulating the ship like a marionette on strings made up of lightning bolts immediately trashed my other ideas, most of which involved cramming all the main characters into one defining scene.
